Dear EMGS,
When should a student start their visa renewal application? My visa expires in February next year but my school faculty says I should wait till end of this semester to get my results and apply, of which they will be out on January and it will be a late period for me to start my application. How does it go?

  Kindly be informed that the institution may proceed to apply for the renewal of student visa 3 months before the student visa expired. As such, kindly refer to the institution for further assistance regarding this matter.

    Hi EMGS,
    My school says they can’t proceed with my application until my results are out. Can I extend my visa instead?
