Dear EMGS,
Good day. I am writing to follow up on my Visa Approval Letter (eVAL) application. I noticed that, according to the Malaysian Immigration system, my application status is showing as “POSTPONE.”
Details of my application:
Full Name: KAMAL MD MOSTAFA
Passport Number: A19556335
Application Number: #########
Application Type: New (Progression to PhD in Social Science)
Date Submitted to Immigration: 14 August 2025
I have already received confirmation from EMGS that my documents were submitted to Immigration and that my case was escalated for faster processing. However, the status has remained unchanged for quite a long time, and now it shows as “POSTPONE” on the Immigration website.
Could you please kindly check why the status has been postponed and why the eVAL approval is taking so long? I would also appreciate it if you could advise me whether any additional documents or actions are required from my side to help move the process forward.
