I would like to ask if it is possible for me to come to Malaysia with a visit visa and complete the remaining process for my student visa while I am there.

I have been waiting for my student visa since 11th June 2025, and unfortunately, I already missed the August intake because of the delay. Now, the October intake will start on 30th October, and I really don’t want to miss it. I have waited for a long time, and it has been very stressful for me.

Could you please confirm whether it is allowed for me to enter Malaysia before receiving my Visa Approval Letter (VAL) and continue the visa process in Malaysia?

  Kindly be informed that student are not allowed to enter Malaysia before the eVAL has been approved by the Immigration. The application can be rejected if Immigration detect the student are in Malaysia before receive the eVAL.
