Dear EMGS Officer,

I hope this message finds you well.
I am a new PhD student at the Institute of Ethnic Studies, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Previously, I have obtained my eVAL and Single Entry Visa, and I managed to enter Malaysia on 1st September. However, due to my unawareness of the regulations, I returned to Indonesia on 4th September.

I am now planning to return to Malaysia on 21st September. I have already applied for a new Single Entry Visa. Nevertheless, when I consulted with the Consulate of Malaysia in Pekanbaru, I was informed that I may need to apply for a new eVAL from UKM.

May I kindly request your assistance in facilitating the issuance of a new eVAL? I would also like to ask whether this process can be expedited so that it can be completed before the UKM registration deadline on 20th October. I have already paid for the tuition and registration fees, as well as the visa costs. As I am self-funded without any scholarship, I am sincerely hoping for your kind support in this matter.

  Kindly be informed that the eVAL can be used once. Once the eVAL has been utilized, you are required to reapply the new application and obtain a new eVAL. Kindly note, before you proceed to reapply a new application, the respective Education Institution must ensure the previous eVAL that was approved by the Malaysian Immigration Department is cancelled. As such, kindly refer to the institution for further assistance regarding this matter.
