Dear EMGS Officer,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to enquire about the appropriate steps I should take regarding my student visa. I have recently completed my Bachelor’s degree program at University Tun Abdul Razak. My current student visa is valid until 21st September 2025, and I have been informed that the university convocation ceremony will be held in the last week of November 2025.

In light of this, I would like to know what I need to do to ensure I am able to legally remain in Malaysia to attend the convocation. Should I apply for a special pass or take any other specific action?

Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi Md Masud Rana,
  
  Kindly be informed that once you have completed study, you are required to cancel the student pass and exit from Malaysia. Kindly note, you may enter Malaysia with social visit pass to attend the graduate ceremony.
