With due respect, I feel deeply ashamed as an international student in Malaysia.

Today, during an immigration raid at Mentari Court, several students were detained—even after showing valid student cards and i-Kads. Their passports were with their universities, yet immigration officers did not accept the i-Kad as valid identification. Many were handcuffed and taken away like criminals.

There is nothing more humiliating than seeing a student in handcuffs despite having a valid visa and committing no crime.
We came here for education, not to be treated without dignity.

I sincerely hope this matter will be addressed seriously by the authorities.
