I am writing to inform you that I have cancelled my current student visa in order to change my institution and pursue a Bachelor’s degree at a new public institution. The visa cancellation process has been successfully completed.

Yesterday, I received my passport from my previous institution, and my return flight to my home country is scheduled for 18th April 2025. Today, I also received the offer letter from my new institution.

As per EMGS and Immigration guidelines, I understand that I must apply for a new student pass from my home country. I would like to inquire: after returning to my home country on 18th April 2025, how many days must I wait before I am eligible to apply for a new student pass? Additionally, if I initiate the application process on 21st April 2025, will there be any issue or complication in obtaining the new student pass?

  Hi MD Maruful Hasan,
  You may apply for a new application upon exiting Malaysia, which means you may submit the application as soon as you arrive at your home country. We are unable to confirm whether there will be an issue as we require your relevant documents to process the application. If we require additional documents for your student pass application, we will notify you accordingly.
