Hello. During the process of applying for a family visa, we had our children’s birth certificates and my (the student’s spouse) marriage certificate authenticated by the Malaysian Embassy in Kazakhstan. These documents bear the official Malaysian authentication stamp.

Now, as the university submits our documents to EMGS, they are saying that we need to have them authenticated again by the Kazakhstan Embassy in Malaysia. How true is this? Also, my husband has the original documents with him, while I am currently in Kazakhstan.
