Hello Officer. Thank you for your answer, and I have a very important question. University where my husband study are asking for insurance to apply for a Dependent Visa, meaning a visa for a family member. Where and how can we get it? Is it essential to obtain it? Is it impossible to get the visa without it?

  Hi Madina Akhmetbek,
  Please note that insurance is a mandatory requirement to apply for a Dependent Visa. The applicant must be covered by a locally purchased medical health insurance scheme. You may contact any local insurance provider to purchase insurance.

    Thank you. As I understand, even if my husband has insurance, my child and I still need insurance before entering Malaysia to obtain a visa?
