Dear EMGS Officer,

I am reaching out to inquire about an unusual issue regarding my eVISA application.

When I applied for my eVISA, I clearly selected my nationality as South Korean. However, upon receiving the confirmation email, I noticed that my application is being processed by the Embassy of China in Malaysia instead of the Embassy of Korea in Malaysia.

I am quite confused about this situation and would like to understand why my application is being reviewed by the Chinese Embassy rather than the Korean Embassy. Additionally, I do not wish for my personal information to be transferred to another country’s embassy.

Could you please clarify this matter and advise me on how to resolve this issue? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
