Dear IMCC and EMGS Teams,

I submitted my passport (E93637404) to the IMCC on January 8th for the purpose of updating my student visa. However, I have noticed that the progress has not yet reached 100%. With the Lunar New Year approaching, I am concerned that without my passport, I will be unable to travel home to celebrate with my family.

I kindly request your assistance in expediting the process so that I can retrieve my passport at the earliest possible date. Your understanding and support in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi Xin Rujing,
  
  The EMGS supporting letter for your student pass has been issued to your institution, and they will be arranging for the endorsement of the student pass at the State Immigration Office.
  
  Your institution will liaise directly with the State Immigration to obtain your student pass. Your passport will not be submitted to EMGS.
  
  As such, we recommend that you refer to your institution for further assistance on the status of your passport.
