**Subject:** Inquiry Regarding the Impact of UNHCR Card Application on Student Visa Renewal

I am a Yemeni citizen currently studying at **Multimedia University (MMU)** in Malaysia, holding a valid student visa. I am expected to graduate in **November 2026**.

As part of my long-term plans, I intend to complete my studies in Malaysia and then immigrate to the United States. For this purpose, I understand that obtaining a **UNHCR card** would be beneficial to facilitate my resettlement process.

Given this, I would like to inquire whether applying for and obtaining a **UNHCR card** would affect the renewal of my student visa in Malaysia. I would like to clarify that I would only use the card for my future resettlement in the U.S. and do not intend to remain in Malaysia under the UNHCR status.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or clarification regarding this matter.
