Dear EMGS staff
I am a Chinese PhD student from UUM, and my passport number is ED8655404. My student renewal status has been stuck at 45% for ten days and has not changed. I have a very urgent situation that requires me to return to China and have already booked my flight. If you have seen my email, please help me process my status as soon as possible.   Kindly be informed that your institution opted to obtain the Student Pass directly at the state Immigration Department. As such, your passport was not submitted to EMGS. We advise that you liaise with your institution directly for further assistance on the status of your passport.
