Hi EMGS
Good initiative made for the app to interact with students.
I have always had concern about student insurance in particular from Pacific insurance whom they cannot even be contacted..to me it’s big fraud of wasting rm 500 for renewal while we cannot even use ..what assuarity do you guarantee students if they have never used their students medical insurance that they can claim it back..

  Kindly be informed that it is compulsory for every student entering Malaysia to have a medical insurance. All international students must be covered by a locally purchased medical health insurance in Malaysia. Kindly note, you are required to visit insurance panel clinic or hospital to get for a treatment. As such, you may refer to EMGS website https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/guidelines/insurance-new for the guidelines to request a claim from the insurance provider.
