Dear Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS),

I am Do Thanh Tam, Passport: C9687460, Applicant for the Bachelor of Hospitality Management (Hons) at City University.

According to my EMGS Application Status, I have gotten the EMGS Approval Letter and been pending at 32% for about exactly 6 weeks since 26th August 2024. Today (07/10/2024) is the starting date of September Intake for undergraduate program at City University.

I have also communicated with the Marketing Manager regarding to my issue. He said CityU is in close communication with EMGS to expedite the processing of applications for new students. And then, I also have been waiting for so long but the VAL is not issued yet for me so that I can flight to Malaysia and settle his stay and study here. As I am late for the September intake, I really don’t know that whether I still can join in this September 2024 intake or has to defer to January 2025 intake.

I wish to have the clear response but yet everything is still ongoing with no updates, I really don’t know what have been going through. Studying in Malaysia is a golden gate for me especially for our future of tomorrow. I hope that my application should be promptly processed so that I have an opportunity to study here.
