Hello! I am Li Yuyang, an applicant from Zhengzhou University, China, applying for Master Mobility Program: NON-GRADUATING RESEARCH at Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, ISC, University of Malaya. My passport number is EM7482474 and my Application Number is ME#########.
Yesterday, University of Malaya’s Student Visa Center reminded me via email with EMGS’s APP that my progress bar has changed from 15 green to yellow and that there is a problem with the Offer and Confirm Letter, which needs to be aligned with the IM14 Form. What does this mean? It shows that there is a problem with my Course Duration because the duration in my offer is September 2, 2024 to January 30, 2025, but my Confirm Letter and Student Visa Application both write October 2024 to December 2024 for three months. So, on the advice of my teacher, I would like to ask you if you can help me to change the “Month of Intake” and “Duration of Study” I filled in the EMGS in the backend operating system of the Visa center to make it exactly the same as the Offer providing, and if it is convenient how should I add the extra Insurance Fees I need to pay due to the extension of the Duration (I have already paid for four months)? If this doesn’t work, do I need to ask UM for a new offer, or to reapply for a Student Visa on EMGS (and how do I get a refund for the fees I paid previously)? In addition, about Duration of my Confirmation Letter, should I get a new one that meets the requirement, or just submit the original document together (Comment says “with a letter head of the university from home country” but I have it so I don’t understand what the problem is)?
