Hi sir, my name is Miao Qinglong and my passport number is EJ6382867. I am a new student to UM. I have booked a flight to Kuala Lumpur on 13/09. Can I enter Malaysia with my student visa on 13/09?
Some friends told me that new students are not allowed to enter Malaysia before 15/09. I want to check it.
Hi Miao Qinglong,
You can enter Malaysia after the VAL is approved. Therefore, it is recommended to stay outside of Malaysia before the VAL is approved. As checked, your application for a Visa Approval Letter (VAL) was submitted to the Immigration Department on 8 August 2024. It will take approximately 7-10 working days to issue the approval. Any updates will be notified accordingly.
