Dear EMGS,
I hope this message finds you well.

My name is Abdulsalam, and my passport number is B04692426. I am reaching out to inquire about the cancellation of my previous VAL and the status of my new VAL application. Currently, the application status indicates that the previous VAL is 100% completed (“Application Completed – Your application with EMGS is closed”) and has not yet updated to reflect the new VAL.

Could you please confirm whether the cancellation of the previous VAL has been completed? Additionally, when can I expect the status to change to reflect the new VAL?

  Hi Abdulsalam,
  As checked, the VAL cancellation is still in progress with Immigration. We are waiting for feedback from them regarding your VAL cancellation. Any updates will be notified through the institution.
