Greetings,

I’m an international student at UniMap and currently staying in perlis and my passport number 11181954 and my visa expires on December, my October semester will be held online and i will be staying in my country. My question is: When the visa expires, can i submit my visa renewal documents online and get the visa stamp when i enter malaysia again? Or i have to come to Malaysia for renewal?

  Hi, Ebrahim Reyashi.
  It is advisable for you to remain in Malaysia while the student pass renewal is in process to ensure smooth transitions. Kindly note that the Malaysian Immigration Department may allow certain international students to renew their student pass if the current pass expiry has not lapsed for more than 3 months. The decision is entirely under the discretion of the Malaysian Immigration Department.
