Dear Officer,
I am a student at USM. My visa expired on October 31. According to the regulations, I can only submit my renewal application materials to the school on July 31 at the earliest. But the semester holiday is approaching, and I want to submit the materials and return to my country, and then return to Malaysia to hand in my passport when the renewal application process reaches the point where I need to submit my passport. Is my idea feasible?

  Please be informed that renewal application only can be apply by the institution. Therefore, we advise that you to refer directly to the institute pertaining to this matter as they are in the best position to assist you further.
