Dear EMGS Officer.
My dependent (X1470891) is applying for new dependent pass and currently in progress with immigration waiting for endorsement (85%). She entered Malaysia on 2nd May and the Visit Pass will be expired on 31st May. Do i need to apply for Special Pass in case the Dependent Visa application haven’t done before 31st May?
Please kindly advice.

  Hi.
  Kindly be advised that your dependent is not required to obtain a special pass when the current pass is expired as the passport is in progress with the immigration department. Allow them some time to issue the sticker. Any updates will be notified accordingly.

    Okay, Officer. But if the visa issued after 31st May, is there any fines need to be paid regarding the overstay?

      Hi.
      Kindly be advised that your dependent will not be charged for overstay. Therefore, no fine needs to be paid for overstay.
