Dear EMGS officer,

I am YANG YUE, and my passport number is EC7249937. I submitted my passport and applied for a special pass on April 3rd. My renewal progress has reached 50%. May I know if you can expedite special visas and renewals? I am facing an emergency as my grandfather suddenly entered the ICU of the hospital yesterday. The doctor said that his life is still in danger, and he only has a few days left to live. I would like to see him one last time in his life. However, I cannot return to China without a visa now. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

  Hi,
  
  Please be informed that we have notified the institution to submit your passport to proceed with renewal of student pass since of 11th of January 2024. However, your student pass has expired on the 28th of March 2024. Therefore institution is required to apply a special pass on behalf of you. We received special pass application on the 5th of April 2024 but the required document to proceed with special pass is not complete. Kindly liaise with the institution for further clarification.

    Hi, Officer. May I know what documents I am missing? Because I haven’t received any emails from my institution or tips from emgs.

  Institutiton is required to submit the related document to apply for special pass. As such, kindly refer to the institution for further assistance regarding this matter.
