My name is Jeremie Minani, from Burundi, passport number OP0341209, and I am a PhD candidate at IIUM Kulliyyah of Nursing. I have applied for my student visa application number, E#########, and got student visa approval (BVP/STU/14321/E#########/1). I was supposed to travel today, March 28, 2024, with Qatar Airlines. I had my ticket, unfortunately, Qatar Airlines departure counter check-in management in Zanzibar denied me travel for the reason that the student visa that I have doesn’t guarantee my entry into Malaysia.
I would like to know as Burundian do I have right to travel to Malaysia only with VAL. Please, I need your assistance or advice on this matter and what I can do to be able to travel to Malaysia and continue my studies

  You need eVal and Single Entry Visa( SEV). You can apply for eVISA from your country after getting eVal
