Dear officer，My passport number:E59469053. My renewal application on EMGS process is 50% today, it shows pending for submission of student passport. I went to my institute for submission, but the teacher on visa unit said it is too early for submission, and ask me to submit passport one month before my student visa expires. My student visa expires is 22March, so submit passport on 22 February. I wonder whether the EMGS department has such rule? Can I submit my passport as it’s 50% now. It is hard for me to accept there are other two months I should wait. I don’t understand why I can’t submit my passport right now because I specially come to Malaysia earlier for visa nerewal, which I wish finish the process earlier. Looking forward your reply, thank you so much for your help.

  Hi, kindly be advised that we require a valid student pass upon submission of the passport. You may liaise with your institution for further clarification. Thank you. Have a good day.

    you means that I can submit the passport when it’s 50% on EMGS system? But why the city university refused to receive my passport and told me the EMGS will reject the submission due to so eatly submition date, they told me the EMGS requir submission one month before the expiry date of student pass.
