Salam,
Dear Immigration officer, I want to know about bringing dependant to Malaysia.
I’m a Masters student at UTeM.
what are the documents I need to prepare for the immigration department? Do I have to submit a bank statement also?
one of my friend has brought his wife yo Malaysia and now she is not given a visa .
The immigration wants a bank statement for 3months with a minimum RM 5k .
I want to be confirmed if this really needed.

  Hi Jihadul Islam,
  
  Kindly note that the Dependant Pass process can only commence once the Principal’s Student Pass has been issued. The applicant is required to enter Malaysia with a social visit pass. You may refer to the link below for further details on the dependant pass application requirement. https://educationmalaysia.gov.my/dependant-pass/.
  
  For bank statement, must have an average balance of end month of RM10,000.00 for 3 latest months.

  Okay is it RM10,000 when the dependent arrives?
  Or before making the application??
