Hello EMGS officer,
Could you please tell me about an estimated time, when can I get my passport back? My passport number is DW7967411. I have to travel domestically in Malaysia for a family reunion happening after several years on 21 December 2023 and I already bought the tickets months ago. Also, can I use the EMGS acknowledgment letter, i-kad, and passport photocopy to travel in case I don’t get my passport on time?

  Hi Saad Tariq,
  
  We understand your concern. However, we received your passport on 22nd November 2023 for the Student Pass endorsement process. The endorsement process takes approximately 14 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. We will notify your institution once the passport is ready for collection.
