Hi
I applied for a student visa via passport number AK1132703. The EMGS approval came through within 10 days of creating my record, and my application for VAL was submitted to immigration on 30/6/2023. By 01/07/2023, status was showing rejected. Please advise on the way forward for this. What could be the cause of rejection and is there a way to fix it?

  Hi Hannah Idris,
  
  We are sorry to hear about the rejection of your application. Please be informed that you are required to liaise with your institution in order to obtain the VAL rejection reason. Upon receipt of the reason, your institution can submit an appeal for your VAL application. However, no appeals will be accepted if the rejection is marked as “final” by the Immigration Department.

    Thank you for your response. I am still trying to find out the reason for rejection. In the event I find out that the rejection is marked as final, can I reapply from scratch?
