Hi Qun Yi,
If your current pass expires whilst your passport is with the Immigration Department, you are not required to obtain another pass since the passport is in progress for the endorsement process. However, if the Immigration Department requires a new valid pass, you will need to apply for the pass. In the meantime, just allow the Immigration Department to complete the endorsement process.
The endorsement process takes approximately 14 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. We will notify your institution once the passport is ready for collection.

Thank you for replying . I’m not worried if the passport be submitted to immigration before expiry date. However , It’s been four working days the passport is still with EMGS. Please help to speed up. Thank you.
