I am PhD student at UPM
I have finished lab work and I have been here in Malaysia for while year , but now I will return to my country, and I will come again to Malaysia to do viva I need just one week for that, but in that date my student pass visa will be expired, so do I need to reapply for new visa or I can enter as tourist especially my passport give me possibility to stay in Malaysia 3 months and I need just one week for doing viva ?

  The student must ensure to have a valid student pass throughout the study period in Malaysia. Kindly refer to your Institution for further clarification on this matter.

    Actually I have asked EMGS in my university and they say no problem, but I want to make sure as some friends said that I will face problems in attestation process after the graduation in ministry of education and ministry of foreign affairs, so I want to make sure of that please.
