Please share how long until you got your approval letter??
I am from Palestine, don’t need an SEV or even a visa as a tourist but I need one as a student. My approval letter took a little over two months because there was an issue with my transcripts equivalency which is now resolved.
Yes but eval is not entry visa
Sev is what you don’t need only
So if the percentage is 70% , all is good , but if 35% , you should wait
I could enter as a tourist (30 days limit) wait for it to get to 70%, leave to a nearby country and reenter this time as a student if I’m not mistaken?
Nooo never do that
Once you enter as a tourist with visa on arrival, they will cancel eval application and you will pay fines
I don’t need sev also for my nationality but I have to wait

I’m going to UM too
So with approval letter and 35% you can do self enrollment and register your subjects starting 3/10 until 14/10 and pay for term 1 fees
Then opt for online classes starting 17/10 until you receive eval

Don’t book tickets before receiving E-Val. It went from 35 to 70 in 11 days. SEV takes 48 hrs to be issued. Important thing now is that your status is green, if it’s yellow it means that u still didn’t submit accommodation form to UM and u should submit it asap. I’m going to UM this year too (engineering) (int.)
Yes thankfully my application is green and I already submitted my declaration of accommodation. I’m also going into engineering! Mechanical to be specific, it would be nice to further connect if that’s ok with you, I’m from Palestine.
