Well Mariam
Three years ago, because of my ignorance I traveled to Malaysia with my offer letter only just to realize that I should have read everything about the system and that I should have got the val first. I exited the country, returned home and applied for val. This was an experience that I would not like anyone else to have. Months ago And, a colleague here said he traveled to Malaysia while his val was processing And, which was harmful to his applicatiom. And this is why when we share our experience in this platform, we ensure that we are giving each other the best support that we can to avoid such mishaps.
i agree. nothing is worse than wishing you had inquired prior and understood the entire process. the platform is really helpful for new and existing travelers with the ever changing covid-19 guidelines. especially with people like you here who are spending their time in assisting. wish you all the best for your further stay in malaysia!
i just received info from my uni that students with approved home quarantine may travel through public transport provided that they inform their university’s international student department as soon as they reach hostel
