EMGS emailed me that international students have to go through the 14 day quarantine procedure from the government, so I am confused!
If fully vaccinated, it is 7 days.
And we can stay in any hotel or AirBnB for that time?
There are specific hotels in Kuala Lumpur for the quarantine. I will choose Ibis hotel because it has wifi. It is expensive though. You will need to book the hotel from here https://safetravel.myeg.com.my/
Okay I will check it out, thank you so much! I guess this means since my university is in Penang, I can’t go there directly.
I also study at USM. According to the travel authorisation, the only permitted terminal of arrival is Kuala Lumpur Airport. Unfortunately we have to go there and stay at the designated hotel for seven days before we get discharged to go to Penang.
