Hey guys, Is there any international student in here who has successfully managed to open a bank account in Malaysia in 2020. Honestly I am frustrated I have tried three banks already and even after providing them with all the necessary documents they won’t help me, they claim that they only open for local students not foreigners, It’s hard carrying around a lot of cash with me and I can’t get a bank to put it in because I am not a local. Has any student here managed to open a bank account this year in 2020 and can you recommend to me which bank doesn’t have xenophobic policies for international students in Malaysia. Please help I’m frustrated. I have already tried Maybank, CIMB and Hong Leong.
