Really, EMGS? We just want you to convey our feelings/suggest to the government and expect “yes, we will try our best to help” instead of the same format answers you’ve been using since ages which didn’t calm us down at all. Is it too much to ask for? I’ve been emailing the government (MOHE & the immigration) for the past 2 weeks every single day and I haven’t even got at least one reply.

Is it not enough to increase the quarantine price to RM5,010 to filter students who want to enter Malaysia? Does the government think RM5,010 is a bit of money? Of course those who are willing to spend that much money to come to Malaysia means they REALLY NEED to come back. Please give a more reasonable reason than “the government only wants to protect its citizens” if you still give permission for other foreigners to enter such as foreign maids, expatriate families, and the list goes on.

We pay almost RM10,000 or even more every semester. We also still have to pay rent because our stuff is still there. If we stop paying, who will keep our stuff? Some of us also live in a country whose time zone is very different from Malaysia and it really worries us, especially since college has started. Many also feel more comfortable living in Malaysia than living in their own household, which greatly affects their mental health. What other reasons do the government need so that the government can reconsider their decision?
