Dear EMGS Officer,

I’m a new student and my application is currently at 32% and I have received the EMGS approval letter to commence online classes. I studied Ausmat in 2019 in Malaysia and im repeating the same course this year as I did not get enough marks for the intended course. I needed 91 ATAR and I got 82. I was intending to join rcsi ucd and not repeat Ausmat in 2020. However it got postponed to next year due to Covid and my best option is to repeat Ausmat and join a shorter degree program which requires higher marks. My question is that if my medical records and criminal records are clear will immigration reject my visa because I’m repeating the same course even though I have a valid reason.

  We are unable to confirm if the VAL will be approved or rejected as the decision is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
