Hello emgs, I’m changing from puplic uni to another puplic , I already applied for visa cancellation,do I need to get new val or I can transfer my student pass to the new uni with out having to get new val, I’m existing student, I’m now in Malaysia, and do I need to exit the country or not, Thank you

  You are required to apply for a new VAL. Since you are changing from one public institution to another, you can remain in Malaysia. However, if the Immigration Department requests an exit stamp, you will be required to exit Malaysia.
