Sorry for being intrusive, but what the answer do you expect from EMGS Officer?
They cannot. Just understand this word that they cannot give you any more informative reply than the one which they give. They cannot teach the immigration their business, they are the most power full and independent department in Malaysia. They are studying the situation and the mechanism of permitting the new student to enter Malaysia. Anyway, they did not give the new student the VAL, so the student should have nothing to worry about. Your university can give you another offer letter in one day and as soon as the immigration starts issuing the VAL, you can apply for a new offer letter and come to Malaysia with your VAL and new offer or just study online in your country it is easy and legal in all the countries. You are a citizen of your country.
Hi, dear @Rami,
.
Thank you for your replying.
.
I’m a citizen of my home country, it’s a fact!!!! But, unfortunately, there are several problems to go abroad as an international student. For example, our authorities give a limited time to its international students to leave the country and commencing their studies. This time normally is six months after getting the admission offer and students must leave their country before this deadline. There are such these restrictions because doing military service is a mandatory task if students don’t study at a higher level study.
I know some countries have these regulations or similar laws. So, most students can’t commence their studies with online course ability or differ their semester, and thus, we have missed our all opportunities since most of us have waited for Malaysian announcements to enter Malaysia.
.
On the other hand, although I completely know the EMGS is an independent department, we want that they bring our difficulties to relevant departments if possible, or otherwise give us an email address from relevant departments to contact them directly and elaborate our issues. Malaysian authorities may not know our challenges, like you!
.
Obviously, It is our right because not only their decision can affect their economy but also can affect our future life. This is not a simple issue!!!!!
.
You said I’m a researcher, your sentence was really fascinating since an important task of a researcher is obtaining suitable results and a researcher doesn’t stop when encountering with obstacles.
.
Sincerely, I ask you to let EMGS answer us if you can’t help us more.
.
Regards,
Saeed Alidoost
Sure bro. But I think they will give you the same robotic answer because it is out of their permissions to give you such as email address or name of someone at immigration, or even to say we will osculate your issue to the immigration.
Good Luck
Please be informed that the decision to allow new international students entry into Malaysia is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. The entry for foreigners is being done in stages, as regulated by the Malaysian Authorities. It is not EMGS’ position to set entry policies. We are waiting for the Immigration Department to provide an update with regard to new international students. Rest assured that, we will notify students and institutions once we have the information.
