I have found this link on emgs website.
https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/travel-authorisation-form.html/
According to it students can apply for return but they need to follow these steps:
1. Approval from institute
2. Book a ticket with ample time for application process (my guess should be mini 12 days)
3. Apply on the link provided with flight details.
4. Emgs will double check with your institution regarding authenticity of your approval from them.
5. After University confirmation they will approve it and send it to imigration DG.
6. Imi DG will approve or reject it and send it back to emgs.
7. Applicant will get email letter of approval or rejection.
8. Applicant needs to get covid test within 3 days before departure.
9. Applicant should inform university about his or her arrival time.
10. After landing in malaysia they will have to go through health screening.
11. If they dont show any signs or symptoms of corona they will get wrist bands and will be guided towards imigration counter where their university representative will pick them and their luggage and drop them to designated self quarantine place assigned by university.
12. After 14 days they need to get examined in order to remove their wrist band.
13. If they are free of symptoms on day 14 they can return to campus otherwise they will be taken into observation.
They didn’t tell anything about the quarantine cost,if there’s any.
The quarantine thing , I am also confused. They are saying something like quarantine centers chosen by the university.
@anisa_2 @muhammad_302 Kindly refer to your respective institutions for details with regard to the applicable fees for the quarantine, as the quarantine will be arranged by your institutions.
Imagine if EMGS still replies by saying we are in the midst of clarifying 😂😂😂😂😂
Nahhh man I will actually lose it if they say this
