Dear officer,
I am writing to you regarding the information on the entry of international students into Malaysia following the announcement of SOPs by Education Ministry for international students. Can you kindly guide me how to enter Malaysia as my student pass expired while I was not in Malaysia and couldn’t return in time due to the closure of borders. I am a postgraduate student and my final semester is approaching and it is necessary for me to enter Malaysia and complete my degree in time.
Your help in this regard would be highly appreciated. Thank you, Have a good day.

  Hi Abuzar,
  
  If your Student Pass expired whilst in your home country, you are required to refer to the Malaysian Embassy in order to apply for the Social Visa. In addition to the social visa, you must also ensure that you obtain the approval letter to enter Malaysia from the Director-General of the Malaysian Immigration Department.
