Kindly liaise with your institution directly for the Dependent Pass application for your wife. Since she is coming to apply as a dependent, you can purchase a one-way ticket. She will enter Malaysia on a Social Visa. However, she is required to proceed to the Malaysian Embassy in the home country in order to check the details for Social/Tourist Visa applications. The duration approved, and the approval to grant her entry into Malaysia is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department officers at the point of entry.
Yes I have already liasied with my institution and give me the required documents.
But there is no Malaysian Embassy in my home country (Syria)
So it should be VISA on arrival, Right??
And how airlines will accept the one-way ticket, are there any documents I can provide to them?
Thanx a lot
@bachir_1 She can proceed to a neighboring country that has the Malaysian Embassy. Visa on arrival is applicable to students enrolling to study in Malaysia, and not to dependents. Kindly check with the airlines directly for travel requirements.
Is there any difference between social visit and tourist visa?
Cause people in Syria come to Malaysia and get the tourist visa upon arrival.
Please confirm for me ??
