Thanks for the reccomendation, yeah i agree its better to renew it. But is there enough time to renew it? Because my emgs status still at 15%, and UUM will start in this 10 feb

The recommended passport validity by the Immigration Department is a minimum of 12 months. Kindly renew or extend the validity of your passport. Once done, you are required to send a copy of all the passport pages for the new passport to your institution. Your application will not be processed further since the validity is less than the set requirement. Kindly liaise with your institution for further details.
