After receiving eVAL, do I need to get return ticket or single side ticket?

Further, I am still in Pakistan and will travel in the mid of October. But am still receiving first, second, third… reminders from emgs to update by sending personal bond copy, and malaysia entry stamp page of the passport . What should I do about it? Is it ok to keep working to reach Malaysia by October mid and ignore these messages or is there any problem? Please guide.

    PhD ka admission hai so I may join anytime before the expiry of the offer letter

  Since you are travelling to Malaysia for the purpose of studying, you can purchase a one-way ticket. However, the approval to grant you entry is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department Officers at the point of entry. You can disregard the notifications for now, as the documents are required after you have arrived in Malaysia. Your institution will advise you further.
