Hello my friend just got his Val rejected at 40% please may I know the cause of it ? Does it have anything to do with him not traveling out of malaysia for the past 4 years as he plans to finish his studies before going back , because his parents wants the best for him and wants him to have the best of knowledge outside his home country

  The percentage doesn’t really explain much except the stage at which the application is (in this case, I believe it’s Immigration who rejected the VAL application). What was the comments given? Did they specify a reason? Ask him to check with the Uni and see if it’s something he can appeal. It may just be because he is in the country while VAL is being processed
