Can I ask how lo g did it take for you to get your VAL, or how long did it take to change your percentage from 35% to 38%?
it usually take 7-10 working days. and 3 days to download
@zeenat It’s actually already more than 10 days and still at 35%. I have no idea about the progress.
okay but remember it’s 10 working days whichdoes not include weekends and public holidays. last week wednesday they were closed due to eid.

You can get the Special Pass at the Airport without IIUM representative. Just proceed to the EMGS desk at the airport and from there to the immigration desk where you will provide your Offer letter, VAL and Visa (if applicable) and your passport for the issuance of the Special pass. The special pass can range between 14 – 30 days. And you are expected to process the Student’s Pass within the period. Upon your arrival in IIUM, you can proceed to do your enrollment at the International Affairs office where you will then be directed further. However, I am concerned about how you will maneuver your way to IIUM if the institution’s representative will not be coming to welcome you at the airport.
If that be the case, you can take a drop to IIUM – Selangor, Gombak. Or Find your way to KLCC, from there to LRT Station, Gombak and from Gombak, you can take T200 bus to IIUM. Best wishes… Safe journey.

Actually, my close person will wait for me out of klia to meet me and take to the iium. Hope there will not be any problems with it, since I have offer letter, passport, sev, val on my hands. Thank u
No… You don’t need IIUM representative to get the Special Pass at the Airport. As long as you hold all the required documents. EMGS counter would be your first point of call when you alight from the train at the airport if I can remember. There, your VAL and admission letter would be requested for sighting and Validation (probably). From there, you can go to the immigration desk to get the Special Pass by providing required documents too. Even if IIUM representative would be coming, he/she will only wait at the side for welcoming people that are arriving. And that would be when you have got your special pass and claim your luggage. Yes, your friend can bring you to IIUM so far you are acquainted with him/her.

Hi. It took 20days including weekends for my val to be approved. I faced some problems with photo so my val was delayed at 15% , but Alhamdulillah I could get it on time. It took 5 working days for percentage to increase from 35 to 70 and I could download it after these 5 days.

It took 478$ approximately for me to by a ticket. I think the best airt here is Tashkent international airport. Uzbekistan airways
But note that I bought ticket with return
Wow but I ask from travel agency at mazar city Afghanistan they said for the price one way flight from Uzbekistan to Malaysia kulalampur 320$ up to 350$ why it has deferent and it is cheaper here Afghanistan than Uzbekistan
