SEV is “Single Entry Visa”. Basically, after your VAL is issued you can come to Malaysia…BUT if you are from a country that needs Visa to come to Malaysia, then you need to take your VAL to Malaysian Embassy and apply for SEV.

I’ll recommend that you check with EMGS for the official answer but from what I know there are 2 scenarios.
1. Either you go to a Malaysian Embassy in a nearby country; or
2. You come to Malaysia with VAL only (there is exception for some countries).
Please email EMGS and confirm which one is true for Iraq.

I’m from Iraq! We don’t have Malaysian embassy in here! In this case what should I do and how can I apply for it? How long it takes ???
