hi @Sarala, my uni says only malaysia bank is allowed and it doesnt need to be necessarily open for 3month , it just needs a minimum balance, so my question is ,is that needed before submission to emgs , since you gotten a VAL without it ? or after the dependant arrives in malaysia at the time of submission of passport

or you can show the home bank account statment as well ?

Actually I have no clear picture regarding this matter but as I heard if you havent open your bank account even before three months you can take a bank opening letter from your bank. Please get a clear idea from ur uni

The bank statement can submit at the time of passport submission.

Just you go to your embassy in Malaysia with your marriage certificate and translation of marriage certificate. Then they issue the relationship letter for you. No need any additional docs

thanks also is it mandatory to have a bank opened for 3 month minimum and with a balance before u can apply for a dependant pass ?
