Hello, received val today, but in the application, they have mentioned that I must get sev from embassy in Sri Lanka (I’m a Sri Lankan passport holder), but I reside in india and I had already mentioned this to my institute. Will I be able to get sev from Malaysian embassy in India? Or if not, what must be done?

  Please be informed if the VAL is valid, you are required to contact your institution to submit the VAL amendment request.

  the same happened to me. i asked my university to ask emgs to address the letter to the other embassy and it took almost 1 month for them to make the changes
