I don’t think a valid ikad is enough according to emgs website. All students need the TA to come. It’s generally advised not to take the ticket specially if it’s expensive before you get the TA since not even EMGS or uni can give you any guarantee on exactly when you’ll receive it. But the thing is my travel is tomorrow and I already have a student permit iKad. I was soppoused to travel on last thursday but the airport told me i have to bring an authorization travel because they won’t release you when you go to malaysia. My vacation finished and my classes started today.

Contact your university because man the travel authorization takes a hell alot of time.
And
I think that u dont need it if u have a valid ikad.-
I know but the airport told it is a no without a permission and i have to contact them because i lost money on postponing

Just contact them today because fr travel authorization takes more than 30 days.
I hope you case gets solved before your flight tomorrow.-

But I already did and i already postponed it once and not only the flight but the quarantine and I cannot do that again. I understand to take the authorization travel but why does it take long like the emgs has all our information and you can’t take an iKad without being in Malaysia and I was in Malaysia for a year, so why is it taking long? I heard people who has a valid ikad went to the country they live in for two weeks and travelled back normally.
You should contact a recruiter in ur uni about ur case so that you dont postpone again.

Yeah it is strange and the who recruited me left the uni but i emailed the one another agent who used to reply to me when i email the first recruiter but let but let us see what they say tomorrow

Hi guys. So I tested positive for Covid and there’s a chance my PCR doesn’t test negative by the time I need to fly so I emailed MOH about my situation and CPRC replied to me with this link.

In your case, covid swab is not required according to the news you shared with us.. They need RTK antigen test two days before departure. And thank you so much for sharing this important news as we all here wish you full recovery.

The TA tool me 14 days. You know Mohammad, if every colleague shared their stories with us just as you do, we would all have managed to save lots of time.

I emaild Emgs officer and ask them,they told me existing student who has expired visa no need VAL.
when app shows emgs awaiting student pass you can apply TA and then SEV if your conturiy need visa before enter malaysia.

No. I booked the flight after getting the travel authorisation
The ticket is very expensive (US$1500) and I could not take risks to book a flight before securing the travel authorisation.

In my case (renewal), I submitted the renewal and travel authorisation application almost simultaneously.

There is a terminology issue. Val is for new students and unless I am mistaken it automatically comes with travel authorisation.
Old students apply for renewal and apply also for travel authorisation but not for val.
