i will go to malaysia for the first time in next October. But, my eval will be expired this month. Is there any ways to extend the eval duration?

  There is a problem here. As far as I have seen with colleagues of similar issues, the extension took a very long time! You will need to contact your university immediately to see if they can apply for an extension. If you can make it to Malaysia a few days before the expiry of the eval that is going to be ideal.
  
  So, see a balance between: losing time getting the extension or losing money for travelling prematurely. Good luck!
