Nope i didn’t have to pay anything. I just informed my institution that my eVAL has expired so they applied for an extension

They haven’t issued mine yet..my application was sent 22 days ago (27th September) and it reached immigration on 6 days ago (11th Oct). Apparently it takes 2-3 weeks in Immigration

Dear EMGS,
My passport number is A00279236 and my institution applied for my eVAL extension 10 days ago and yet it says “VCC: Documents received from Institute”

we’re in the same situation lol my visa is stuck for 2 months already and their service is super bad, they dont even wanna tell us why it’s taking so long ugh so annoying

It took EMGS 14 days in my case to send my E-Val Extension to the Immigration for approval (Applied on 27th September and Sent to Immigration on 11th October). I’ve contacted international office and they said to email emgs.
Emgs replied me that they are operating at minimum headcount.-
Thats some bs going on.

The way the immigration department is working and the way the international office of taylor’s supports, it looks like that there’ll be another travel ban before we even get the extended eVAL

The website says “4-10” days not “3-7” days. But your best bet might be submitting and hoping for approval. But you also need to include the possibility of not getting the approval since you only have 2 days, because if I am not mistaken, weekend days are not counted. So you need to measure the risks and go for the safest option you see.
i think it’s too risky and you might not getting the approval, but you can try submitting it
As far my previous experience we cannot apply outside the time frame ie 3 to 7 days plz check
